Islam permits divorce as a last resort, but it is a decision that should not be taken lightly. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Of all the things that God has permitted, what He hates the most is divorce.”

If you fear a split between the two of them, then appoint an arbiter from his relatives and an arbiter from her relatives. If they desire reconcilement, Allah shall reconcile them. Indeed Allah is all-knowing, all-aware.

We will giude you in every matter

Divorce is a difficult and emotional process, yet Islam provides a just and compassionate framework for those who find it necessary. While issues such as neglect, lack of support, or abuse may justify separation, Islam encourages reconciliation whenever possible before this step is taken.

At the Islamic Education Center (IEC), we understand the sensitivity and challenges surrounding divorce. Our Imam is available to provide guidance, consultation, and support to help individuals and families navigate this process in accordance with Islamic principles.
